Brisbane Allergy and Immunology Clinic
Specialist Allergy and Immunology Care for Brisbane Patients
Queensland Allergy & Immunology Clinic provides specialist assessment and management of allergic and immune system conditions for patients across Brisbane, North Brisbane, Caboolture, Redcliffe, North Lakes, the Moreton Bay region and surrounding suburbs. We diagnose and treat food allergy, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), eczema, chronic urticaria (hives), angioedema, asthma-related allergy, drug allergy, immunodeficiency, and immune-mediated inflammatory disorders.
Our clinic is based at Pulse Specialist Centre in Birtinya on the Sunshine Coast, directly opposite Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH), a straightforward drive from Brisbane via the Bruce Highway. Most Brisbane patients attend in person, particularly for initial assessment and any allergy testing. Telehealth consultations are available if suitable for your situation — for example for follow-up reviews — and can be discussed with our team when you book.

How to See a Specialist from Brisbane
Your GP refers you to Queensland Allergy & Immunology Clinic, noting your symptoms and history. Dr Yu reviews the referral, and our team will confirm whether your first appointment is best done in person at Birtinya or by telehealth, depending on what's being assessed.
Skin prick testing and any procedure that needs to be done face to face will require an in-person visit to Birtinya. Once a diagnosis and management plan are in place, some follow-up reviews may be suitable for telehealth — our team can confirm this with you at the time.
